THE FUN, THE GLAMOUR AND TALENT.

The Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ, students week, 2016, might have come and gone, but the memory will always remain in the mind of every students of the institute, including the lecturers.
The new Mr and Miss NIJ also emerges, alongside Mr and Miss Aimty, and photogenic respectively.

The event was a week package, which witness the students going out for street carnival, exhibiting their entrepreneur skills. Talents were also discovered as J.Brown came up with a hit track, title "Connent", which is even making radio wave as I typed. Mavin star, Korede Bello, who also his a bonafide Nijite came on board to trill the audience with his hit tracks, Godwin, Romantic and When you go marry?

Pelumi Ige, aka Observer, came up with a surprising talent by carrying and running with a 25 litres of water with his teeth. Also Gbhenro the dancer, became the heavyweight champion among the students. The security men too weren't left behind as they also lifted the weight.

The glamour of the event was the dinner and award night, as the Head of General Studies, Dr. Dele Omojuyigbe emerged the most studious lecture of the year, while awards were also given to students, meanwhile, Alesh Akeem, the artsassin pencil artist was given recognition award for been the famous pencil artist in Nigeria, in his words "its a great privilege to be a member of the institute, and it remains my homey, and am proud to be a former student and a prospect student" he also presented a pencil portrait to the Provost of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Barrister Gbemiga Ogunleye.
