ILLEGAL SHOPS GETS RID IN LAGOS

The Lagos State Government has vowed by all means in clearing up the environment in order to make Lagos a safe environment to leave.

Director in charge of Enforcement and Advocacy Department, Dr.Abiodun Afolabi made this known to Journalist while clearing some illegal shop structure in Magado, Lagos.

Dr.Afolabi noted that this administration will continue to compliment the efforts of Gov.Akinwunmi Ambode in making Lagos habitable for the residents.

He noted that they will get rid of illegal shops in that axis of Magodo and other environment in other to maintain a sustainable, organized, and friendly environment.

He also noted that the State Government has established zero tolerance for all structures and properties built under high tension cables across the State, saying that the exercise will continue till December this year.

Some of the affected owners of the illegal structures noted that they are aware of their coming to demolish their shop, they however plead with the government to give them more time so as to gathered their goods together.
